After a very professional and competent solar installation in July 2024, I paid for an EV charger in May 2025, I’m still waiting for it! In October I paid 50% deposit for an extra battery and a back-up system, to be fitted on 14th November. I was contacted the day before and asked for the balance to be paid (as per the contract) ‘to enable the installation to go ahead tomorrow’. Paid it, nobody turned up, no message, no phone call, no apology, no explanation. Thèse folks are completely unprofessional, nothing went as it was sold to us. The seller is a liar and disappeared as soon as we bought their solar panels. The installation was done through a third party company, unprofessional, impolite and sloppy. The backup battery that we bought in May hasn't been installed nor they have any clue when it will be done, and we paid 100% of it. We tried to get the refund but got no answer from them, we don't want their crappy battery anymore and even if they haven't met their own contract conditions, they don't want to pay us back. My saga is just the same as everybody elses. They have had over 11000 euros of my money and I signed the contact last June. since then I have been waiting for a battery installation. Their excuses are pathetic and their customer service is non existent. Legal action underway. Take my advice STAY WELL AWAY FROM SOCIAL ENERGY/SENERCO SERVICES.

We have very good feeling about the services provided by Social Energy. From the very first contact and signing a contract, till the installation of panels and activation. All staff involved was very professional, communicative and forthcoming. The only downside is that all the process took a bit longer than initially indicated. I would recommend Social Energy to my friends.

After receiving a phone call, we agreed to a visit from “Social Energy”, A representative called by and explained the process. We were not happy as to where the solar panels we going to be placed . And very unhappy about the new boxes and cables that would make our home look ugly! But we were told it was inevitable! We were undecided! A few days later a technician called by to review the project . He confirmed what we had already been told! Big ugly boxes and tubes all over the outside of the house ! Not happy!
