I needed to install ducted air conditioning in an apartment without pre-installation. I was told that rigid ducts could only be installed by lowering the hallway ceiling, which would result in a significant aesthetic change and an increase in the budget of around €1,000. The argument was that flexible ducts are too noisy. Another company installed flexible ducts for me in 5 days. They didn't lower the ceiling. They're completely silent. €1,000 cheaper. I should add that they were very kind and accurate in their estimate.

Honestly, a terrible experience. We called him because he was an authorized service technician for a boiler with high pressure. When he arrived, we told him it was the expansion vessel. Ten minutes later, without even looking at anything, he said it was in very bad shape and that water was leaking from the return line. He said the boiler needed replacing. The estimate was €1800.
