I applied for a Spanish visa, and I got rejected. The Spanish consulate does not have a legal obligation to be transparent for rejections. I knew that I had to get some legal help at this point. I contacted several lawyers, but Juan was the most responsive and had an English translator to help me. He got the documents together very quickly, and he’s very familiar with Spanish immigration law. I had a great experience with him.

So incredibly glad I had the support of IUS Extranjería throughout this process. Since I was not able to secure a student visa before leaving the US, I was very hesitant to navigate the residency permit process and Spanish bureaucracy on my own. They made the whole thing much less stressful. All I had to do was send them the required documents and they handled the application and scheduling of all appointments. They were very knowledgeable of every step. Definitely would recommend to any students in need of a visa.

I wish I could give zero stars. If you're doing anything other than arraigo social, just get a different lawyer. But if you choose to hire him, make sure to check in regularly about your immigration case. He let my second appeal expire by failing to check the status or following up in a timely manner then made it seem like this was actually a good thing because then we could apply for arraigo social. I had much better options which he failed to research. I was so scared but thankfully I hired another lawyer and now I'm happily awaiting my Spanish Nationality. My new lawyer even went with me to
